Who
We Work With?
Partnerships with child and youth protection organizations are essential to help us make an impact on the populations we serve.
Our longest relationship is with our founding partner, the Children's Aid Society of Toronto, which allows us to operate as a foundation.
Our partners and grant recipients across the country use the funds we raise to benefit youth and families involved in the child welfare system, allowing us to reach the greatest number of children and young people as possible, and to know their needs. We also work with our partners to co-design new, effective programs for our priority populations.
Our partners and beneficiaries report on the impact of the funds provided to them, which allows us to leverage additional funds and ensure that donations have the greatest impact possible.
About our partners and grant recipients
To become a partner or grant recipient of the NGO Pibélé-Gnon, an organization must be a qualified donee or be linked to an organization which is a qualified donee and which could act as trustee.
Our funding relationships with partners and beneficiaries must advance at least one of our goals for the populations we serve.
Partners
Partners are organizations that the NGO works with or funds through one of the following means:
- NGO flagship initiative – existing programs proven to have a positive impact.
- Co-design initiative – the result of working collaboratively with the NGO and donors to design an initiative aimed at delivering a particular impact.
Grant recipients
Grantees are organizations that receive funding from the Foundation outside of the Foundation's flagship initiatives to support children, youth and families.
